1. The 567go app
The app is built so that your music and your practice stay on your phone.
- No account: there is no sign-in, and the app never asks for your name or email.
- Your music stays on your device: files you add through the system file picker are copied into the app's own storage. Track titles, collections, sections, markers, speed settings and practice history are stored on the device too. None of it is uploaded to us or anyone else.
- Crash and error reports: when the app crashes or hits an error, it sends a technical report to Sentry, our error-monitoring provider. A report contains the device model, operating system and app version, the error details and the state of the audio engine. It does not contain your name, email, file names, track titles or any audio, and it is not used to identify you or to advertise. Reports are kept for up to 90 days.
- App updates: the app checks Expo's update service for fixes. That request carries the app version, the platform and a random installation identifier.
- No ads and no tracking: the app has no advertising, no analytics SDK and does not track you across other apps or websites.
- Deleting app data: uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored on your phone. To ask us to delete crash reports from your device, email us with the approximate date of the crash.
2. The waitlist: what we collect and why
When you join the 567go early access waitlist, we collect only the minimal information needed to operate the beta program:
- Email address (Required): Used solely to notify you when private beta invites roll out and to share occasional product milestones. We do not send marketing spam.
- First name (Optional): Used to personalize communication when invites are distributed.
- Choreography / Practice focus (Optional): If you choose to answer our post-signup question (e.g. teaching, solo practice, competition cleaning), this is stored alongside your email to help us prioritize features and invite cohorts with matching workflows.
- Referral URL & Campaign tags: Standard HTTP referrer and UTM parameters (such as source or campaign) to see where dancers discover 567go.
- Hashed IP address: We pass your IP address through a one-way cryptographic SHA-256 hash with a secret salt. We do not store raw IP addresses. This hash is used strictly for automated rate limiting and bot mitigation.
3. Data storage and security
Waitlist records are managed securely via Loops (an email and subscriber communication platform built for modern applications) with encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and strict access controls. We never sell, rent, monetize, or disclose your personal data to third-party advertisers or data brokers.
4. Website analytics and cookies
We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate traffic statistics. It is cookieless and does not collect or track individual identifiable user behavior across the web. We also maintain lightweight in-house server telemetry for conversion milestones (such as whether the waitlist form was submitted).
5. Waitlist retention
We retain waitlist records throughout the pre-release testing period. Once the public release is accessible or upon your explicit deletion request, records are permanently expunged.
6. Your rights
You have the right to request access to any data associated with your email address, to correct inaccurate details, or to have your record permanently erased. Email hello@567go.app or send an Instagram DM to @567go.app. 567go is not directed at children under 13.
